Pokemon Shield Nuzlocke: Completed
Basic Information:
Game: Pokemon Shield
Status: Completed [Success]
Starter: Scorbunny
Rules: Basic Nuzlocke, Not Blind (played Sword)
Summary: I wish I documented this run better, but my system memory was low so I didn't screenshot much. Here are the fragments I do have, only from the final fight. I kept a level cap for most of my 'mons but let Matchpoint, my starter, eat a bunch of rare candies before the final fight to give him an extra buff. The final fight was challenging, with three deaths, including that of Fortress, my Drednaw, who I caught really, really early in the run. This was the first Pokemon game (Nuzloke or not) that I had the chance to use an eeveelution for a long time, and I was pleasantly surprised.

Pokemon Scarlet Nuzlocke: Completed
Basic Information:
Game: Pokemon Scarlet
Status: Completed [Success]
Starter: Fuecoco
Rules: Basic Nuzlocke, Not Blind (played Violet)
Summary: The early game was deathless until after the Artazon gym (Deriva the Skipbloom to a Buizel). Levincia Gym dealt me my first major loss, Cálido my Crocalor at the hands of Mismageus. I caught Bribón my Maschiff before the gym, who went on to sort of become a "replacement starter" as he survived what most of my early game 'mons did not. Rotom was an important member of the team for a while in early-mid game and I got lucky with buying a Rotom Catalog early. Poison Crew of Team Starfall dealt me the biggest loss of the campaign up till that point, with Cuadrado the NaclStack, Vehiculo the Varoom, Bala the Barraskewda all fainting and Telefono and Ascua at 6 and 2 HP, respectively. The next few challenges were handled deathless until Morte the Espartha killed Trazo the fire Taurus and Condesa the Arctibax before being captured. Unfortunately, the next big loss the team suffered was right before large plot events at the Fighting Crew camp. Eri's pokemon claimed the lives of Enfadado the Annihilape, Telefono (RIP), and Ascua the Pyroar (RIP) -- two big team members who had been with me for a long time. Soga my Sandaconda clutched the fight so we didn't wipe completely to the Starmobile which had buffed it's speed and attack to incredible effect. I spent a long time levelling my box 'mons after this to shore up defenses in preparation for the Elite Four. With Bribón handing a sound defeat to Arven's own Mabostiff, and the fight with Clavell and Penny being deathless, I began my E4 journey. Several members died along the way, namely Vamos the Talonflame, Amarillo the Tatsugiri, Austero the Houndoom, but they each aided me greatly in my journey here and I am thankful to them. Bribón nearly escapes death during the E4 gamut, surviving Larry with 6 HP -- Soga does the same with 21 HP to Hassel's Baxcalibur. The Geeta fight was closer than I thought it was going to be, with last minute roster addition Rinosan surviving Glimmora on 2 HP. Cue levelling montage of box pokemon part 2, this time it took 15 hours. I took one loss during the Nemona fight (Fleco the Hydragon) but otherwise it was bearable. The fights with AI Sada was really, really challenging, and I barely squeaked through with no losses. Now, I honor the surviving teammates who were particularly important to me personally or in the game:
Bribón - my replacement starter, I love him so much and keeping him alive in the playthrough became my chief concern.
Pelota - the little psychic bug who could, thought she were going to die a million different times but she pulled through.
Soga - coil clutched out so many fights, and thank you for tanking several shots that would have ended the run otherwise. She is a queen.
Rodar - the little grass/ghost tumbleweed who somehow survived despite every force in the known universe trying to kill him.
Morte - initially hated foe, really clutched out several battles. I still don't like this murdering Lady Gaga ostrich but I can respect her.
Rinosan - a late addition to the party but was there when I needed her the most. The run would have been very different without her.
