Larkspur Buildtester
Sim Traits: Cheerful, Foodie, Loner
Lot Traits: Homey, Chef's Kitchen, Convivial
Lot Type: Tiny Home Residential (32 squares max)
My very first scenario, decided to go for a challenging one because I've heard that some of the other ones don't take very long to complete. My general strategy for this one was to make foods that don't require the oven, but it was unavoidable for some parts of the challenge. As you can see below, there were lots of fires, the damage of which cost a lot of money as the fridge and stove were adjacent for a good part of the challenge. To avoid excessive phone calls (which ended up not panning out as I needed friends for the aspiration), grow a plant that your sim can talk to. I grew oversized and regular crops and my sim's social need was rarely low. Having a tiny home increased skill gains by a bunch, honestly a lifesaver in any challenge run. Pro-Tip: if you can, place the stove away from other valuables like the fridge. Can't tell you how many times my fridge died this game.
